A VIDEO RENTAL STORE
Welcome to our video rental store at Karlskronaplan 11 in Malmö, Sweden. A place for film lovers, curious minds and anyone looking for something different.
Opened in 2026, we are proud to be Sweden’s only active video rental store, keeping the experience of browsing and choosing films alive.
Our carefully curated collection has something for everyone, from devoted cinephiles seeking new discoveries to those simply looking for a good film.
ABOUT PHYSICAL MEDIA COLLECTION
We curate highly sought-after films from boutique distributors including The Criterion Collection, BFI, Arrow, Indicator, Radiance, Eureka, Third Window Films, Vinegar Syndrome, Re:Voir and more. The personal collection from one of the founders of Hypnos Theatre formed the basis for the original selection. New films are added to the catalogue every week. We seek out new releases, new restorations and hard to find films – across DVD, Blu ray and UHD. In addition to our curation, new titles are arriving regularly from Filmklubb and kindly donations.
Are you sitting on a collection that we all might be interested in? We welcome you to write to us.
